This is the second oldest building on the Pittsburg State Campus. It was originally called the "Industrial Arts" Building and was renamed Whitesitt Hall in 1964 by the Kansas Board of Regents in honor of Andrew Whitesitt, the professor responsible for almost all of the industrial classes offered by Pittsburg State.
