Manzanar War Relocation Camp, now the Manzanar National Historic Site, had a Volunteer Fire Department and this was their Engine.

Standing with a bit of pride outside the Visitors Center of the Historic Site, there is not much to explain the history of the Volunteer Fire Department of Manzanar, which operated between 1943-1945, but you are able to climb around on this antique engine which is kind of cool in itself.
