Located in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, the location has been the residential are of choice of upper middle class on the greater Pittsburgh region. With Westinghouse industry offices nearby, many of its managers lived around here during the 1950s, 60s, 70s when industry was booming and families prospered.
The cemetery is somewhat large. There is an area reserved for armed forces veterans.
On the very back, near the maintenance debris yard, there are four pet graves.
