Road of Trail Name: Beale Wagon Road

Historical Significance: This was a road used to move immigrants as well as military personnel through the southwest on the 35th parallel. Eventually parts of the ATSF railroad, Route 66, and Interstate 40 follow sections of the road.
Years in use: 1857 to present day
How you discovered it: Read about the road in a few books. Then did more research on it on my own. Just found the marker a year or so ago.
