Sep 2, 1911 - AK Longren's brief flight in his pusher-type biplane on September 2, 1911, marked the beginning of a new era in Kansas aviation history. The "Topeka I" was the first Kansas aircraft to actually fly.
Today Cessna calls Wichita home and has made general aviation a reality for many.
