This is a nice one room school house with some of the history here going back to my own roots. There's a section honoring the WWII vets, a bit about Batchellerville (the next town over), the flooding of the valley and a whole bunch of recently added photo's of the area. Though recently added most of the pics are early 1900's and some even older. Definitely worth a look. Actually getting here when the museum is open can be a challenge. It is only open noon to 3pm, Wednesday & Saturday. I believe they close in Sept. I'll be posting the Edinburgh Rural Museum as well and these are both open the same hours and are quite literally a good stones throw from each other. Maybe a .10th of a mile apart but I don't think its quite that far. Parking is where ever you can find to the right front corner of the museum. Please don't block the Edinburg Emergency Squads doors. There are several waymarks in this area tied to history right here all within a half a mile. You might want to plan a nice picnic lunch or grab a sub from Fullers corner store and visit all of the waymarks here and stop at the old covered bridge waymark for lunch.
