Castle 2 park is a metal and plastic, castle-themed park with lots of equipment, much of it ADA accessible. It has rubber-mat flooring rather than wood chips.
There is a tall structure with several slides, a separate structure for young children, things to spin on, swings including infant and handicapped chair swings, bridges, tunnels, and a multi-person rocker.
There is a picnic pavillion in the middle of the playground. The whole thing is securely fenced with gates. There are bathrooms in a building nearby and many playing fields as well.
The park is located not far from the Garden State Parkway near the bridge to Seaside Heights, Lavallette, and Island Beach State Park, and would be a nice place to stop with kids on the way down the Parkway.
