the palace Palazzo Ossoli was designed by Baldassarre Peruzzi. On its side facade, viewable from Piazza Capo di Ferro, from the front of another famous palace, Palazzo Spada, the sundial is visible on the upper floors of the palace.
The hours are said to be "french hours", and marked with roman numerals. Furthermore, the hours of 11, 13, 17 are additionally marked with a lily flower shaped metal decoration.
