This ride is ann up-side down thriller that makes kids and adults scream! The Python is the only roller coaster in ocean city with high speed banks, turns and a loop that turns the world up-side down - every time!
Originally established in 1959, this fantastic amusement park features over thirty exciting rides for the whole family, including roller coasters for all ages, bumper cars, an old-fashioned train, a tilt-a-whirl, and log flume.
This amusement park has less baby rides than Wonderland Pier a few blocks away, also on the boardwalk. These rides are mostly geared toward the teen crowd and a little younger. Rides cost tickets which can be purchased at various booths located throughout the park. 1 ticket costs $1. We purchased 44 tickets for $30 and used our credit card. The more you buy the better the cost. The have a family plan too if you plan on coming down week after week, like my children do.
When you first enter, there is an arcade with all sorts of fun stiff under a roof, so if it rains, you got it covered. They have four of those coin operated rides, an old fashioned penny smashing machine, a Zoltar fortune telling machine, many first person arcade/video games, basketball, skeeball, and everything else you would expect to find at America's Greatest Family Resort.
In addition to the roller coaster, there is the Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper Cars, Antique Cars, old-fashioned Train and Log Flume ride, and all manner of attractions to make you vomit and spew on yoru neighbor. My five year old went on a ride called the Hurricane which scared the bejeebers out of me. He loved it, I got sick watching.
