This bicentennial time capsule was buried beneath flagpole at the new Fire and Police Department Facility, dedicated on May 8. There is no indication of an opening date.

Although the Sierra Madre Historical Preservation Society placed this bicentennial time capsule, there seems to be no reference to when it will be opened, though presumably at the tricentennial.
