Stafford County's Visitor Center is close to Fredericksburg, VA. It offers information and brochures about historic sites, golf courses, performing and visual arts, museums, wineries, and dining and lodging facilities.
It is also at the entrance to Belmont, the home and studio of Gari Melcher, and occupies the former garage. The quaint visitor center has a small museum shop.

Directions: Follow Interstate 95 to Exit 133-A, Falmouth (Route 17 Business). Merge onto Route 17S Business / Warrenton Road. Proceed through two stoplights, approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Route 1001 / Washington Street. Take the first right onto gravel road into Belmont's parking lot.
