Beautiful old Cotton Mill building, located in the community of Cedar Falls, in Randolph Co, NC, at the intersection of SR# 2141 (Loflin Pond Rd.), and SR # 2144 (Hunt Rd.). Stumbled across this while hunting benchmarks in the area. There was no information about who placed the sign, or the date it was placed. The oldest part of the Mill is clearly seen to the far right of the wide shot photo. It's brick, looks to be well over 100+ years old, while the Largest sections, of the Mill look to be maybe about a hundred years old at best. Fantastic little gem of Civil War, and Randolph Co., NC History. It's just a real shame that the building is not open for display, or being used in any way to preserve the historic building.
