In the Scarborough section of the city of Toronto, Ontario, stands the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church at the corner of Markkum Road and Progress Court, near Highway Route 401. This church stands prominently at this corner, with an elaborate cross displayed toward the intersection. The church structure is a modern design with a relatively squat conical spire.

The church web site testifies that this is an active church. With the church there is the Alex Manoogian Cultural Centre. There is also a memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in 1915. Articles on the site feature various charitable activities such as visiting shelters and building homes.

After the Armenian Genocide in their home lands, many emigrated to other countries, including Canada. Toronto had one of the larger populations in the country. In 1928, the Armenian Apostolic church of Toronto was organized. Until they raised enough money to build their own church, they were able to have services in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Toronto. In 1953, they congregation was able to build their own church in the Scarborough section, which was where the highest concentration of Armenians was at the time. The congregation named the church in honor of the church that hosted them for many years. The congregation outgrew their original church and built the current structure in 1986.

I did not see a direct reference to the hours to regular service. From a couple pages, I am guessing that there is a Sunday 9:30 a morning service and 10:30 a Divine Lithurgy (not sure if this is weekly or periodic).
