The Marquette Maritime Museum in Marquette MI is a great place to visit. There is a lot of information about ships lost in Lake Superior and those who served on submarines in WWII. They have an operational periscope from a WWII sub that you can experience and so much more. You can also tour the the Marquette Lighthouse.
