Amazed to find this one, not knowing what to expect. A Self-Centering Plate type, #963012. It is wired with a cable going to it from a nearby pole. My GPSr put it to within 1m of it's theoretical location (from Canada Geodetic data). There are 2 or 3 others nearby that I couldn't locate, but will try again another day. Did notice some partial round circles about 15" in diameter nearby, appeared chiseled into the rock. Didn't think they could be BM's.
