This waterfall is located at the end of a 7 km dirt road, located near Broad Cove on the Cabot Trail. The falls can be viewed after a 10 minute walk from the parking area.
It has become a very popular destination for locals and tourists to go swimming and ride the falls. Unfortunately this has somewhat taken away from the beauty of the falls with litter and vandalism found throughout the area. At the time of this picture (July 09)I was not able to get a clear shot of the entire falls due to the amount of people using the water. This is just a segment of the slide/cascade falls.
A Parks Canada fee will have to be paid; cost will depend on how long you will be in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
