This is a quiet, rural cemetery where an industrial park is starting to encroach. There are approximately 600 gravesites in this very well-kept cemetery.

Sacred Heart Cemetery is located 1625 Road M5, providing a final resting place for the deceased. Originally located on South Avenue near Carter Street, the cemetery was moved to the current location prior to 1880. Sacred Heart Cemetery was revitalized in 1958 and again in 1998. In 2001 a directory was constructed to provide a list of the deceased and the location of burial in the cemetery.
