Saw this one day while taking a short cut across the Sandhills of NC. Then it occurred to me as I cross the LRS RR tracks, that's part of the old oil mill waste area I used to pass by when working for the LRS years ago.

Many years ago when I was the conductor on a little short line railroad, we would go over to Wagram to service the JP Stevens plant and then go on over to Raeford for an account over there. We rode by this silo which was part of a waste reclamation system. Man, you talk about an odor when they where off loading the trucks. Anyway, when I saw it, I just had to go in for a better look. The area is pretty well grown up but you can still see the silo from the road and access it by a service road beside the RR track.
