Plano Balloon Fest - Hot Air Balloon Festivals on Waymarking.com

This is a fun family event that takes place in September every year in Plano, Texas. It has grown to a three day event attracting more than 100,000 people.

Plano Balloon Fest is a non-profit 501c3 organization that raises funds for other local non-profits that serve Collin County. Community Credit Union/View Point Bank is the main sponsor of the annual event.

If you visit and are also wanting to do some geocaching, there are at least 15 caches within walking distance of the park and 50 within a 1.5 mile radius.

Visit Instructions:
Attend the festival.
Give the name of the event.
Post the coordinates of the launch field.
Give the city, state/prov, and country.
Tell us the number of balloons participating.
Post the associated website if available and/or the organizing group.

Post a picture of yourself with one of the pilots, crew, volunteers, or in front of one of the balloons involved with the rally. (Pilots and crew are usually very approachable and willing to help.)
