The school house is currently being renovated.
Bill Wingler for the Michigan one room school house association tells us "The restoration of the school is being done by a group of concerned citizens
that have no governmental support. They have had to have various types of fundraisers to finance the restoration. The exterior is now in excellent shape; much work has to be done on the interior. It is encouraging to see a group people dedicating themselves to restoration of a schoolhouse."
