?The corner stone reveals that this building was once a post office. Brick building, stand-alone, no insigna that reveals post office past usage. Now used as office space by small business.
Wilkinsburg has alot of old grandiose architecture. The number of churches, majestic bank buildings in white marble, large school buildings, reveals that its past was once flush.
Today, its delapidated buildings and homes reveal decay and abandonment. Local residents are mostly low-income families and elderly.
