This Alpaca Farm currently only stocks Huacaya. No Suri's currently call the farm home. Started in 1993 the herd at this farm has won county, state and national awards. They routinely produce "Royal Baby" - the finest grade of alpaca fiber commercially available.....at less than 20 microns in diameter! Thats 0.020 millimeters or 0.00078 inches thick!
"Now that is some fine hair"

If you were wondering what is a Suri and what is a Huacaya?
There are two types of Alpacas, both anatomically identical; the difference is in the fleece genetics. Suri SS is the dominant gene, the Huacaya ss recessive gene. When bred for a dominate trait the Alpaca is considered either Suri or Huacaya.
