The first I.O.O.F Hall in The Dalles was built in 1889 and was destroyed by fire in 1891. In 1904, a new Hall was built at this location and it was again destroyed by fire in 1914 and was immediately rebuilt in 1915, using the 1904 cornerstone. (info from sign at site).
