Coordinates take you to a secondary parking area. At the time of writing main parking lot was closed. The main parking area is marked with a freestanding metal sign close to the road.
The dog park is eight hectares in size with four or five picnic tables scattered throughout. There is one table that is covered with a little shed. This is probably to escape from the summer heat as there are no mature trees to hide under. The park is situated on a slight incline so you can throw your ball downhill to really wear out your pooch. There is water supplied for the dogs to drink near the entrance of the enclosure. I would take my dog here if I were desperate. There are much better areas in Kelowna if you have a choice.

Responsible owners:
-clean up after their dogs
-train their dogs to obey commands
-license their dogs
-vaccinate their dogs
-ensure their dogs don’t bother other park users
-use a leash no longer than 2 m. (6 ft.)
-stay at least 10 m. (30 ft.) away from playgrounds
A maximum fine of $500 can be levied against any person not complying with these responsibilities. Call Dog Control at 860-9322 or Bylaw Enforcement at 862-3361 to report infractions. (It’s helpful to provide a vehicle license plate number.)
