This is the scene of Rocky Balboa's triumphant run up the Art Museum Stairs eventually culminating in a fantastic boxing match. It was a wonderful scene which I remember pumped up the audience when I saw it in the movie theater.

This scene is so famous as well as the location, it has its very own Wikipedia entry entitled Rocky Steps.
This scene, filmed at the steps has always been a Philadelphian favorite. Rocky will forever be immortalized because of these steps and in fact he was with a statue that was removed awhile ago. The statue featured Rocky with his arms raised up, upon reaching the tops of the steps. it seems like each time I visit this site, there is someone running up the stairs emulating this fictional character.
Tourists and local residents often mimic Rocky's famous climb, a metaphor for an underdog or an everyman rising to a challenge....The scene has become a cultural icon. E! Channel ranked it No. 13 in its 101 Most Awesome Moments in Entertainment.
