This location is one of the most dived spots on Okinawa. Almost everyone certified on island has dove here for part of their cert.
There is always fish to see, sandy bottoms, coral wall and a small cave to dive into in this location. It is also a favorite for snorkelers and families. When we first started diving in 2003 the steps down to the water weren't here there were just carved 'steps' into the coral, since then they have revamped the parking area and made actual steps down to the water. On the weekends you may have to 'wait' to get in the water as there can be that many people getting in the water at a time.
This location will feel like bath water in the summer time, like all other spots in Okinawa. This spot can turn bad in a quick moment so it is important to judge accordingly but it is almost always good to go.
