I found this disk with my family on a day trip exploring the old city of Québec. This convex benchmark disk is set horizontally into the sidewalk of Rue St-Louis. The disk is stamped VILLE DE QUEBEC MOOKM223 GEODESIE.

An interesting side note. If you look from the disk to the other side of the street you will see only one tree 50 feet away at the corner of Rue St-Louis and Rue du Corps-de-Garde. Can you see the shining cannonball casually tucked among the roots of this tree?
