The Cedar Run Garden Club, designed and maintains the garden at the Warrenton Library year-round, periodically rejuvenating it with new plantings. The area is small, but charming; it surrounds a fountain and bronze statue by Heath King of a girl reading. The statue was dedicated in 1993 to the memory of Hildegarde van Roijen of Warrenton, a devoted gardener and loyal library patron.
