This post has been active since 1950. Meetings are Wednesday nights. For many years, Legion Park, operated by the post, has been home to many athletic contest. From baseball to football, teams have played their best on their fields. The local National Guard was housed here in the early 50's through the early 60's. I can remember going there to see M-60 Patton tanks when they where housed occasionally in town. The many members of this post are civic leaders of our community. They are some of the many reasons that our home area excels in their endeavors.
