Macon Cemetery is an old yet active cemetery. There are approximately 150 graves. There are several family groupings that are surrounded by fences.
The most interesting is the Mewborn family area. It is dominated by an obelisk in the center with all other graves in the enclosure arranged in a circle around it.
Also scattered around the cemetery are mulitple Woodmen of the World, Masonic, and veteran head stones.
