Camp Gilroy is nestled on the shore of Wollaston Lake in cottage country. The Camp is three-quarters cleared with 15 designated campsites, and one-quarter wooded with hiking trails. The sand beach with dock allows for great swimming and canoeing on this large, interesting lake. This camp would be ideal for environmental studies on the shore or in the wooded area

Camp Gilroy is located 1.6km from Coe Hill, 92km from Peterborough Ontario.
The Property
The property consists of 10 acres, approximatley one-half wooded, 800 feet of shoreline (mostly rocky) on Wollaston Lake's Anson Bay. Approximatley one- half open areas.
Campsites
Large open areas plus smaller patrol campsites.
Swimming
Safe sand beach, raft anchored out from shore.
Fires
Some on the ground (designated), portable drums for all others.
Firewood - Lots available
Water Supply
Pump easily accessable to building and campsites

Building
Kitchen approximately 12 ft x 14 ft - comes complete with electric stove, grill, 2 refrigerators, sink, counter, cupboards, dishes, pots & cutlery etc. for up to 45 people.
Dining/Activity room approximately 22 ft x 14 ft - comes with 8 ft tables, benches, chairs. Campers can sleep on the floor.
Building is insulated and electrically heated for winter use. Outside flood lights on building illuminate immediate area.
Availability
September to June (camp is reserved for scouting families during the summer months).
