"The Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad Depot was constructed in 1896 on Depot Street in Wauseon , Ohio . The current depot is the second one to be built at this location. The structure is a fine example of Richardson Romanesque architecture. In 1957 passenger service ended. The city of Wauseon acquired the depot in about 1972. The depot was restored by the Fulton County Historical Society in 1975. Today, the depot houses artifacts relevant to the history of the railroad" - Fulton County Historical Society
