Nature preserve just off the Greenway in Broadlands, Virginia, near Ashburn. Boardwalk goes around large water feature that is home to numerous wildlife species. Summer programs for youth are brought here to learn about the environment.

This wetlands preserve was created by the local developer as a give back for developing a large neighborhood in a sensitive environmental area. This is what a wild habitat is all about. Take a nice walk around the pond and observe all kinds of wildlife from birds, to turtles, various plant species that love wetland areas, and numerous reptile species.

Level terrain that is mostly boardwalk and a bridge around a pond. Benches are placed around the feature. This could be a wheelchair friendly nature preserve.

Walking and wildlife viewing from various platforms and bridge.
