Hogback Wood, on the western edge of the Seeleys housing estate.
Is a area of natural beauty with wildflowers and old woodlands
Developed between the late 1940's and early 1970's, the land used to belong to Seeley's Farm.
Earlier in the century the cherry industry used to once flourish. Skilled fruit pickers used to take time off from their regular jobs to harvest the tons of cherries and up to sixty people were employed at Seeleys Farm.
