This sign has the HB Logo and is seen when entering Huntington Beach going West from Costa Mesa on Adams avenue, West of the Santa Ana river.

In 2007 the City of Huntington Beach commissioned an artist to design several signs to welcome visitors to the city now officially known as "Surf City" USA.
There are 4 different signs, placed in 6 different locations that enter Huntington Beach, and all have the slogan "Surf City" and Huntington beach on them.
There is 1 with 10' surfboards, 1 with Terns cut out of large oval rusty steel plates and wood columns.
2 signs have an image of the Pier
2 have the HB Logo
There is still one location not yet approved for a 7th sign on Beach Blvd south of Edinger ave. That will also be a sign with the 10' surfboards, my favorite of them all.
