Panther Hollow is a ravine in the middle of a thick residential and academic community in the heart of Pittsburgh. The small community of houses has been historically inhabited by italian-americans that came from the towns of Gamberale and Pizzoferrato, in the central Italy region of Abbruzzo.

Connecting the group of houses on the bottom of the hollow to the neighborhood on top, is a winding set of steps, Diulius Way.

A recent article on the residents on the bottom of the steps is at (visit link)
