A US Geological Survey elevation benchmark approximately 750 feet north of route 87 near Pine, Arizona. This disk is not in the NGS database. Disk markings: "R 55 - 1931", "6811 feet elevation". It is set on a rock ledge approximately 3 feet above the ground. When I was there, there were lots of cattle about 100 feet away, on the other side of a barbed fence.
Condition: Mark found in good condition
