Specialist Four Michael Dennis Goeller Vietnam War Memorial Bridge, Sacramento Street overpass crossing over state highway 20/49. Specialist Goeller's memorial plaque is located on the sidewall at the southeast end of the bridge.
Specialist Four Michael Dennis Goeller, 1st Aviation Brigade, United States Army, died of wounds sustained in a helicopter crash in Binh Duong, Republic of South Vietnam. His body was recovered. SP4 Goeller’s name is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., panel 23W, line 36.
This memorial was directed by the California Assembly’s Concurrent Resolution 43, Chapter 220, in 1971.
