Private First Class Philip Alon Tritsch Vietnam War Memorial Bridge, Washington Street overpass crossing over state highway 49. PFC Tritsch's memorial plaque is located on the sidewall at the southwest end of the bridge.


Private First Class Philip Alon Tritsch, 4th Infantry Division, United States Army, was killed by small arms fire on January 28, 1969, in Kontum, Republic of South Vietnam. His body was recovered. PFC Tritsch’s name is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., panel 33W, line 11.


This memorial was directed by the California Assembly’s Concurrent Resolution 43, Chapter 220, in 1971.
