Specialist Four Ronald James Walber Vietnam War Memorial Bridge, Sacramento Street overpass crossing over state highway 20/49. Specialist Walber's memorial plaque is located on the sidewall at the northwest end of the bridge.
Specialist Four Ronald James Walber, 101st Airborne Division, United States Army, died of fragmentation wounds in Binh Duong, Republic of South Vietnam, on April 25, 1968. His body was recovered. SP4 Walber’s name is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., panel 52E, line 12.
This memorial was directed by the California Assembly’s Concurrent Resolution 43, Chapter 220, in 1971.
