Private First Class Thomas William Cranford Vietnam War Memorial Bridge, Dorsey Drive overpass at state highway 20/49. PFC Cranford's memorial plaque is located on the southwest end of the overpass.
Private First Class Thomas William Cranford, 9th Infantry Division, died of multiple fragmentation wounds on May 9, 1968, in Binh Long, Republic of South Vietnam. His body was recovered. PFC Cranford’s name is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., panel 57E, line 18.
This memorial was directed by the California Assembly’s Concurrent Resolution 43, Chapter 220, in 1971.
