From Wikipedia (from the National Register application), we learn that Aquone is the "colonial revival home of Samuel Cole Williams, noted Tennessee jurist and historian. The home was built in 1925. At that time it was north of the existing city limits of Johnson City. A replica of a Maryland colonial home, the house also features a two-story library modeled after Sir Walter Scott's study in his home at Abbotsford House."

Private property, thus all pictures were taken outside the fenced area. Met a pair of gentlemen here who were also looking for historical places in Washington county based on a 4" thick book assembled by the county historical society.
