Look carefully on north side of I-26 once three miles pass the Boones Creek exit. Very short viewing window to see this sharp barn quilt.

The new NE Tennessee Quilt Trail bulletin provides the correct name of "Carpenter's Wheel".

Just short of the Old Stage Road overpass on I-26 west bound. Between mile markers 15 and 16. Near a large highway billboard. Trees limit view to a very short window if going 70 mph speed limit. Probably not seen any better from Old Gray Station Road which parallels I-26 to the north.
Your Visit:
Past this barn quilt several times in recent days, but with family in car. This time made a rapid halt on the right NB shoulder of I-26 to get the photos. Freshly rolled hay next to barn, so definitely in use.
