The flag shows two crossed white (silver) objects on red background.
It is uncertain what these objects mean, but it was on the seal of the second owner of castle Bottmingen.
The bicolored parts on top and below the main part do not belong to the official flag, but this shape makes it possible to take a picture without any wind.
