Balaa, in the Tannourine village (Lebanon). During millions of years the waterfall had eroded a three leveled large dizzying sink hole, an open cavern some 250 meters deep. Three natural bridges !

Driving directions:
From Beirut, take the coastal highway to the North.
At the Jbeil exit, drive upwards in the direction of Annaya, the Ehmej then Laqlouq. At Laqlouq turn left in the direction of Tannourine. After about 5 Kms, you reach the small village of Balaa. Just turn left 100m before Church Saint Sarkis in Balaa. Follow the road (dead end) for about 1 Km.

Three middle natural bridges - the middle one is the most spectacular - on which a man is standing. It gives you an idea about the overall size of the cavern.

Breathtaking view, especially during the snow melt season.
