SINCE NO AZIMUTH MARK WAS FOUND NEAR THE STATION, ONE WAS ESTABLISHED BY THIS PARTY.

AZIMUTH MARK IS A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED SAN JACINTO 1898 1923 SET 1954 AND SET IN A DEPRESSION IN BEDROCK THAT IS ABOUT 2 FT. LOWER THAN THE HIGHEST POINT OF THE FIRST PROMINENT POINT S OF THE STATION HILL. IT IS ABOUT 200 YDS. S-SW OF THE SIGNPOST IN THE SADDLE WHERE YOU LEAVE THE TRAIL.

SW OF THE HIGHEST POINT OF the PEAK RM1 33°48.887'N 116°40.767'W REFERENCE MARK 1 is northwest and ABOUT 2 FT. LOWER IN ELEVATION THAN THE STATION. RM2 33°48.881'N 116°40.765'W REFERENCE MARK 2 is south and ABOUT 2 FT. HIGHER IN ELEVATION THAN THE STATION.
