This home is a 1928 Sears Mitchell Model Plan.
At least this is what I learned of it on a tour today.
The wooden floors are pecan wood and it remains in great shape.
Almanzo drug up the stones with his horses as he could not work on the house much due to his age.
It was also a Christmas present from Rose to her parents.
