This cobbled mosaic can be found next to the pretty St Mary's Church in Wheaton Aston. It forms the centre of the village green, a paved area providing a meeting place and seating area.
The design features the snakeshead frittilary, the emblem of the village. This attractive flower has become rare in the wild but can be found in nearby Mottey Meadows (where it is the most northerly location in the wild).
The centre of the mosaic is designed to accomodate the village Christmas tree.
