Mariahilf District is rich with the history of early settlement in the Killay district in Saskatchewan. Contained in the same acreage are a nice old chapel and a graveyard. McShane Bell Foundry, Baltimore, MD, 1904. The plaque doesn't make it clear if the bell came from the school or the church. The chapel still stands. A rather interesting news item published in the New York Times in November 1903 can be read here: (visit link) Note the date on the bell!
