First Lieutenant Ernest James Stidham Vietnam War Memorial Bridge, Mill Street underpass at state highway 20. Lieutenant Stidham’s memorial plaque is located on the northwest span of the overpass above the sidewalk on the west side of Mill Street.

First Lieutenant Ernest James Stidham, 25th Infantry Division, died of wounds from small arms fire on December 22, 1968, in the Republic of South Vietnam. His body was recovered. 1LT Stidham’s name is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., panel 36W, line 66.
This memorial was directed by the California Assembly’s Concurrent Resolution 43, Chapter 220, in 1971.
